About Me

101-151My love for food began as a child growing up in Iran and Italy. In Iran I learned my first recipes from my mother, my aunt and my grandmother who still offers me advice on a regular basis.

More recently, since moving to London in 2006, I have added to my repertoire of mostly Persian recipes to included Western cuisine. I sometimes like to experiment, for example, by taking a Western desert or main course and adding some Persian ingredient to make it a little more interesting and unique.

In addition to creating recipes, I am a professional food photographer and food stylist. I combine these skills to present food in new and interesting ways through photography. I am currently writing a cookbook that comprises over eighty Persian recipes and which combines my passion for food and photography.

I am currently the chief food editor for Classical Lifestyle Magazine.
